The retreat will be held at the beautiful facilities of High Point Camp and Conference Center, located in Geigertown, PA. The phone number at the camp is (610) 286-5942. Our retreat will be held September 24, 25.
All students in grades 9-12 are expected and encouraged to attend. The trip is designed to help develop spiritual growth and school unity. We are looking forward to a great time together!
Our speaker for the retreat is Forrest Chapman, a recent graduate of Calvary Seminary in Landsdale, PA. He had a great impact on summer campers at High Point last summer. He will be an encouragement to your son or daughter. The purpose of the retreat is to build unity within the high school, have fun, and be challenged early in the year to live for the Lord with a whole heart.
We will be leaving GCCS at about 8:00 a.m. on Thursday and return to GCCS at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Please make sure your child's "stuff" is clearly marked. Due to the number going we are limiting the students to one piece of luggage, sleeping bag and pillow. Students will ride in the same vehicle to and from the retreat. No exceptions. Paintball equipment will be locked in a school vehicle at all times. The camp has asked that paintballs are not brought but purchased at the camp. Do not bring paintballs with you.
